It features unreleased songs from the early recordings of Gypsy music stars ŠABAN BAJRAMOVIC and ESMAREDŽEPOVA. It also introduces other lesser-known singers, such as Muharem Serbezovski and Medo Cun, whose upbeat songs reach their peak during improvised solos. Stand Up People highlights Kosovar Gypsy music, which until now has been very rarely distributed. This work reveals a wealth of oriental sounds that have remained in the shadows for decades. Stand Up, People is the first album to have delved so deeply into the corners of Balkan Gypsy music, showcasing both pieces performed by the famous artist Nehat Gaši at Kosovar Romani weddings, and tracks by unknown artists who only released a single.Stand Up, People, bringing together meticulously restored songs, will also be released on CD and double 180g vinyl.
