Description
Stan Getz started by playing swing, until he heard Charlie Parker. He would then try his hand at bebop, before shifting his playing towards a soft, mellow, and relaxed jazz, under the influence of Lester Young. He would create his own synthesis of these different styles in the early fifties, thus producing an original, inspired, and sophisticated sound, elevated by a tone as sweet as it is warm, which would make him one of the greatest saxophonists of the cool era and a remarkable example of an impressionist musician.Buy Desafinado at the best price
