The Archaeoptimist

Description

Spock's Beard – over 30 years of prog rock, and still one step ahead. Icons of progressive rock for over 30 years, Spock's Beard returns with The Archaeoptimist, their first album with Madfish. Always in search of renewal, the band refuses nostalgia and delivers a bold opus, blending complex rhythmic signatures, impossible harmonies, and intense arrangements.
At the heart of the project, Ryo Okumoto (keyboards) stands out as the creative engine alongside Michael Whiteman (I Am the Manic Whale), Alan Morse, and Ted Leonard. The album was produced by Okumoto, recorded in the band's home studios, and entrusted to the mixing and mastering of a recognized expert: Rich Mouser (Dream Theater, Weezer). With a career marked by sold-out international tours and albums charting (including Noise Floor, #3 UK Rock & Metal), Spock's Beard stands out as one of the most exciting and consistent bands in the modern progressive scene.
