Description

Luke Donovan is the mastermind behind Spectral Park's debut album. He plays all the music on it, all the records. It all started on a pavement where this multi-instrumentalist from Southampton found a box full of records ready to be picked up by the garbage collectors. He fed his sampler hours of music from this box, kneaded the sounds, assembled and looped them, before starting to record his own instruments and his (also heavily modified) voice. The result is a madness, somewhere between 60s psychedelia, sweet ethereal daydreams and pop chaos. At once new and so familiar due to the musical history they contain, these sounds reconstruct a past while exploding in the present.
