The group was originally the solo project of multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and Follakzoid founder, Juan Pablo Rodriguez. Formed in 2011, it served as a vehicle to explore active ambient and space rock instrumental music with the following equipment: Roland JD800, Roland SPX404, and a Samick guitar.
