Many innovative bands and artists established the sound of Jamaica throughout that decade and beyond. It features leading artists such as Freddie McGregor, The Wailing Souls, The Gladiators, Horace Andy, Devon Russell, Cedric, and many more, along with a host of lesser-known rare tracks made at Studio One by artists such as The Prospectors, Viceroys, and Pablove Black. This compilation is released as a double black vinyl LP with a gatefold sleeve, full notes + a download code, and on CD with a booklet + a digital album.
