Since their beginnings in the early 80s, the Parisian band Les Soucoupes Violentes have been interested in everything that defines the essence of rock: from the Ramones to the Temptations, from The Sonics to Suicide, not forgetting French rock, that of Les Olivensteins and Les Coronados. While original guitarist-singer Stéphane Guichard remains faithful to his influences (garage, pop, 77 punk), his current ambition yearns neither for revival nor nostalgia.
