Soshi Takeda, Tokyo-based master of deep house, returns with 'Secret Communication' - a highly anticipated follow-up of six tracks echoing his flagship album from 2021, 'Floating Mountains' - to take us further into a universe of mystery, movement, and fluid dreams. Recorded between 2022 and 2023 in his home studio using a unique collection of machines from the 80s and 90s, these tracks navigate through an intertwining of celestial paths, carried by lush soundscapes, bubbling basslines, and tempos imbued with bliss, all sprinkled with touches of acid evoking dawn and cosmic piano. His music is an invitation to dance made of idyllic emotions and inner landscapes, in search of new horizons. Significant events marked the creation of the album: "Wars broke out. At the same time, my child was born. I went through moments as sad as they were beautiful." 'Secret Communication' offers panoramas, valleys, and visions of lives not lived, floating above the gray noise of the city. From the jazzy daydream of "Can Imagination Transcend Distance?" to the "starlight house" elegance of "Rainstorm," through the farewell ecstasy of the title track, Takeda's music touches and transports, acting as a portal to other realms. Imagination and emotion, intention and inspiration become one: "When I listen to beautiful deep house, I feel a mysterious atmosphere. Dreamlike images come to mind. That's the sound I'm trying to create."
