Draw The Outline is the third album by Sorcha Richardson, and the first since her departure from Dublin to West Kerry. Composed at the foot of a mountain, just steps from the sea, it abandons the synthesizers of her previous records for warmer sounds, blending wind instruments, saxophone, Hammond organ, and piano, with acoustic guitar ensuring the coherence of the whole. These are soft and laid-back songs, evoking intimacy and perception, the way two people can share the same moment and remember it differently. A subtle humor, imbued with authenticity, permeates them. Carried by the single "Illinois Again," this album takes its time to reveal itself, and is all the more enriching for it.
