It is a musical feat, combining Son Lux's electronic signature with brilliant instrumental embellishments. The tracks, all rooted in Son Lux's compositions, include a duet between Mitski and David Byrne, the voices of Moses Sumney and Randy Newman, and the flute of the legendary André Benjamin. The album was nominated for the Oscar for Best Original Score in 2023, and includes "This is A Life" by Mitski and David Byrne - nominated for Best Original Song.
