For ten years, SOLAR PROJECT has been making its big heart beat across France, dazzling us with smiles and swaying music. A feel-good, contagious Afro-Pop that the six musicians from Nantes deliver with their solar energy. Two EPs and hundreds of concerts (alongside Orelsan, Deluxe, Suzanne, Naâman…) have allowed the band to refine its hybrid musical style with multiple influences and sounds. Passage is Solar Project’s new EP, five tracks for a journey strewn with repair, care, and solidarity. Leaving a scorched earth without knowing what the next destination will look like, but choosing to weigh anchor together. On board, the crew is intact: five musicians who, over the years, have refined an ever more blended identity, where pop, French chanson, and sunny, organic groove meet. The songs evoke sisterhood, women, peace, and resilience. Whatever the destination: the crew is still and always aiming for a place of hope and collective strength.
