Sofia Kourtesis will release her new EP, *Volver*, on August 1st via Ninja Tune. In it, she pays tribute to the LGBTQ+ community, particularly trans women she met in Latin America, saluting their courage in the face of violence and corruption. The EP was conceived between Germany and Peru, in a whirlwind of emotions, travels, and personal commitment. She compares this process to an Almodóvar film: chaotic, painful, but luminous. In parallel, Sofia continued to tour, get involved in community projects, and begin medical studies. Her art reflects this intensity of life.
