Swedish band SOEN announce the release of their fifth album, "Imperial". Founding members Joel Ekelöf (vocals) and Martin Lopez (drums), along with Lars Enok Åhlund (keyboards and guitar), Oleksii "Zlatoyar" Kobel (bass), and Cody Ford (lead guitar) have never given up, continuing the band's unique journey through eight sharp and astonishingly constructed songs covering themes of frustration, reflection, and hope. This makes "Imperial" SOEN's darkest and most dynamic release, yet it will continue to be deeply therapeutic for the band's dedicated followers and the band themselves. SOEN are eager to hit the road again to present this new album, which is why they have announced the first leg of their "Imperial European Tour 2021", starting in Oslo, Norway, in the spring. "Imperial" was produced by Inaki Marconi and the band, and mixed and mastered by Kane Churko, who has worked with Ozzy Osbourne and Bob Dylan. Churko gives songs like "Illusion", "Modesty", and the famous "Finale Fortune" a dimension and richness that will help them reach more listeners and minds. "Imperial" is an album that immediately captivates its listeners and will endure long after this somewhat crazy period. With its rich details, it is destined to become a metal classic of this era.
