Social Haul’s debut album vaguely depicts a protagonist defying the perceived
negative aspects of his character, particularly in others, attacking in stages or
episodes. Not unlike that unfinished Bruce Lee film. He takes on ignorance, rebellion,
dissociation, spiritual bypassing, indifference and finally enlightenment. "Social Haul"
is centred around the middle distance, the place where we realise that no matter
how insignificant we feel or how excluded we may feel, we all have something worthwhile
to say. For fans of IDLES, Shame, Dry Cleaning.
