10 ans de cavale

Description

After 5 studio albums and a victory at La Nouvelle Star in 2009, it’s time for Soan to celebrate his 10-year career and offer a Best of his best songs, completely rearranged and re-recorded. "Dix ans de cavale" will feature 16 tracks, including 7 unreleased songs. Soan revisits his compositions at their source, starting from guitar and voice. "Stupidity is a guy who lives and says 'that's enough,'" said Jacques Brel. One must believe that Soan has managed to draw inspiration from that. Immersing oneself in his universe is to discover a world of intense poetry that is rooted both in the emphatic interpretation of Jacques Brel and in the energy of despair blown by the grunge of the 90s. Introspective lyrics reconstruct his inner world word by word, splashed with his overflowing emotions, and he sings them while twisting the phrases to extract sincerity down to the last drop. In his lyrics, in his gestures, French song is reinvented and screams with the rage of a grunge band.
