Skye Edwards and Ross Godfrey are launching their new project SKYE | ROSS, with a first self-titled album. An album that, while having its own musical identity, is also a kind of return to the roots that made Morcheeba a reference band in the late 90s. "It's the sound that Skye and I naturally make when we make music together, a change in continuity from what we were doing back in the days of Morcheeba. It therefore seemed obvious to us to give this project a distinct identity." The result is an album that evokes the spirit of Morcheeba and their big commercial success "Big Calm" but also contains something new, probably the maturity that comes from a career of over 20 years.
