SKRILLEX is the stage name of the young American DJ who revived the dubstep genre among teenagers, Sonny John Moore. Yet a proponent of a Do-It-Yourself philosophy and independent from mainstream media, this offspring of Aphex Twin has become a true icon of music. He has managed to bring together metal fans (participation on Korn's album: "The Path of Totality" in 2011), reggae (track "Make It Bun Dem" with Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley), and rock ("Breakn' A Sweat" with The Doors) but especially a generation of ultra-connected "geeks." Indeed, his YouTube channel has billions of views thanks to stunning clips, he can be found in the world of video games (Far Cry 3), in cinema (he appears in "Wreck-It Ralph," released in 2012, for which he wrote the soundtrack). Having filled the Zénith in Paris (sold out, 2012), he allows himself to do "club tours" (Le Yoyo, Paris, in November 2013, sold out) for which tickets are snatched up.
