"Act Like You Know" is the first single from the dub album by Skinshape x Horus, a cover of the track by Fat Larry's Band (1982) featuring the vocals of Andy Platts. Will Dorey (Skinshape) and Ben Bell founded Horus Records in 2013, initially to reissue rare Jamaican reggae records, before producing original albums rooted in the traditions of the 60s and 70s. The new album, entirely analog, blends original compositions and inspired covers, with guests such as Andy Platts, Modou Touré, and Winston Reedy, and even includes a reggae rearrangement of the Interstellar theme. Outside the studio, Ben Bell runs the Lion Vibes Record Shop in London, while Skinshape continues to push sonic boundaries with productions that mix funk, psych, and soul.
