Still - Front Cover
Sinfield, Pete

Still

Description

Pete Sinfield's only solo album bears the fingerprints of King Crimson covers for each track, resulting in a piece of early Progressive Rock. With his King Crimson companions, Greg Lake, Mel Collins, and John Wetton assisting him, Sinfield is able to capture a fairly consistent progressive air throughout the album, complemented by periodic injections of Classical, Rock, and Jazz movements. To Sinfield's credit, these surreal lyrics are thoughtful and well-written, with great respect for the fantastical world of Progressive Rock. The album was originally released under the EP label, and this long-awaited reissue includes the bonus tracks "Hanging Fire" and "Can You Forgive A Fool."
