Simon Mcbride is from Belfast in Northern Ireland, a place filled with the finest musical traditions thanks to artists and bands like Gary Moore, Rory Gallagher, Thin Lizzy, Stiff Little Fingers, and of course U2. At the beginning of his career, he says he went on tour “the roots way” without a sound engineer or roadie to play 30 concerts in just 35 days, which allowed him to attract the attention of a label and then gave him the opportunity to accompany Don Airey on his solo tour as lead guitarist. With this first album recorded at the legendary Chameleon Studios in Hamburg, Simon delivers a true rock album as expected, with big riffs, catchy tracks, and plenty of energy.
