Following their eponymous 1995 debut album, which featured the single 'Cours vite,' Silmarils took Original Karma in 1997 to new streams of lava with hits like 'Tant que parle l'économie,' 'En attendant,' and 'L'homme providentiel.' The band also enriched its fusion with dazzling hip-hop beats ('Le Cours de l'histoire (DJ Lethal mix),' 'Run Away Shooting') and chose to experiment (the messed-up jazz blues parts of 'Karma,' 'Don't Call Me Run Fast,' 'Who Cares')."
