IN THE NAME OF BLOOD is an intimate dive into the heart of identity. The change of stage name, from SIERRA to SIERRA VEINS, is at the core of the creative approach behind this second album. This evolution resonates directly with its central theme: identity. With violence and melancholy, softness and brutality, SIERRA VEINS blends moods and styles, continuing to carve out her path, inspired by synthwave, EBM and darkwave. In every drop of blood lies the imprint of our stories, DNA as a silent memory that has circulated within us since the beginning. Our cells carry the traces of what came before us, of what escapes us, and of what we will become. An invisible legacy that shapes us, whatever we try to become. She released her first album A Story of Anger in 2023, featuring major collaborations with synthwave godfather Carpenter Brut, collaboration kings Health and the British trio Gunship.
