Since their first concert, Shovel has created an immediate connection with the vibrant Berlin scene, and following their first demo in 2019, they have managed to establish themselves in the underground heavy music scene. Emerging from the muck of sludge, doom, and post-metal, their intense music travels through the openness and freedom of psychedelic textures, ultimately crawling into the claustrophobia and despair of black metal with an unconventional and distinct sound.
