Shelter is best known for its founder and frontman, Ray Cappo, considered one of the most prominent representatives of the "krishnacore" scene, which blends hardcore elements with a strong spiritual message. Formed in the early 90s, Shelter was Cappo's second band, who was previously the frontman of Youth of Today.
