Portrait Of Sheila

Description

Singer Sheila Jordan introduced her inimitable vocal style on her 1962 debut album Portrait Of Sheila, one of the few vocal albums released on Blue Note at that time. Accompanied by a trio featuring Barry Galbraith (guitar), Steve Swallow (bass), and Denzil Best (drums), Sheila Jordan delivered delightful versions of standards. This is a stereo, all-analog Tone Poet edition, mastered by Kevin Gray from the original tapes and pressed on 180g vinyl at RTI.
