Trigger

Description

Sharon Mansur breaks the mold: an explosive trio between jazz, the Orient and electro. With Trigger, her first album on ACT, Israeli pianist and keyboardist Sharon Mansur weaves a jazz shaped by multiple influences: Middle Eastern traditions, metal, electronic music, classical... Trained in jazz and classical piano, she performs just as comfortably in electro clubs as on metal stages or indie festivals. Alongside David Michaeli (double bass) and David Sirkis (drums), she offers a trio with powerful sounds, both melodic and cinematic. Trigger reflects the musical diversity of Israel - because as she says: “Israeli music is a constant mix of influences.” A bold, eclectic record carrying a message of unity.
