Sex Swing transcends the boundaries of rock with a sound rich in violence, sexuality, and sacrifice. Their new album, Golden Triangle, is inspired by the region between Myanmar, Thailand, and Laos, known for its beauty and drug production. The band, made up of members from the British underground scene, blends percussive rhythms, powerful guitars, and saxophone, creating a hypnotic alchemy. The album features seven tracks, including titles evoking places steeped in history and conflict, such as 'The Confluence of the Ruak and Mekong Rivers' and 'Hpakant', inspired by a jade mine. Golden Triangle showcases the band's evolution since its formation in 2014, adding structure and complexity to their primitive sounds. Recorded in a Hackney studio and mixed by Wayne Adams, this album promises to capture the essence of a world full of mystery and violence.
