SEVENTEEN would become one of the most successful K-pop groups of all time, but when the 13-member group debuted in 2015, they were just an unusually large group from a mid-sized music company struggling to survive. 17 IS RIGHT HERE - a massive anthology album of 33 tracks released in anticipation of the group's ninth anniversary - is the sound of SEVENTEEN's laborious rise. The album can be divided into three categories: Twenty of the tracks are previously released Korean singles from SEVENTEEN, from the debut single of 2015 "Adore U" to "God of Music" from 2023; eight of the tracks are Korean versions of previously released Japanese singles from SEVENTEEN, from "CALL CALL CALL!" from 2018 to "Ima -Even if the world ends tomorrow-" from 2023; four tracks are completely new; and one is an instrumental version of a previously released single. Together, the singles tell the story of SEVENTEEN's career so far.
