Cursing The Sea (+MP3)

Description

Irish quintet from Dublin, they have been playing together since 2011 and took their name from a song by The Bangles. September Girls play pop rock that is sometimes melancholic and should delight the male and female orphans of the wonderful The Organ. The melodies are catchy and addictive, and the fresh, garage-pop side of their music can echo Dum Dum Girls. A simple but not simplistic sound, very airy and light. Album of the Month for January in NME.
