Sensor Ghost is an art-punk no-wave trio from Washington, DC, featuring Mike Andre (bass/vocals), Amanda Huron (guitar), and Sam Lavine (drums). The band's prickly songs are known for leaving listeners in a bewildered trance. Past/current projects include Puff Pieces, Antelope, Weed Tree, Light Beams, Vertebrates, and Stigmatics. Like the aforementioned bands, Sensor Ghost owes much to the unsettling sounds and iconoclastic creativity of the famous DC punk scene. The band's debut LP, "Irritation on Demand," was recorded with Ian MacKaye and Don Zientara at Inner Ear Studios over a few feverish days in March 2024. The band will tour the US and Europe throughout 2025.
