Released in 2010 by the critically acclaimed punk trio. Last year, Screaming Females toured relentlessly to support their third album Power Move, which received critical acclaim. Their hard work earned them opening slots for Dinosaur Jr., Throwing Muses, and Jay Reatard, as well as tour dates with Arctic Monkeys and The Dead Weather. The year brought them wider recognition, drawing attention for their punk rock sensibility and raucous performances led by the renowned heroic guitars of singer Marissa Paternoster. On Castle Talk, the trio proves they are more than just pint-sized guitar shredders. Castle Talk showcases their growth together as a unit, as a band, with some of their most complex and confident compositions to date.
