Satyricon & Munch

Description

Satyricon & Munch presents two of Norway’s best-known artists, Edvard Munch and SATYRICON, brought together in a groundbreaking work of art, breaking the boundaries between high culture and black metal music. This new music, created by the mastermind behind SATYRICON, is written in the form of a 56-minute musical work and transcends all genre barriers. Although the music was written for the art exhibition, it has the emotional depth to fit any environment outside an exhibition hall. Founded in 1991, SATYRICON is a true legend of the black metal scene, which it has strongly influenced from the early 1990s to the present day. The band has received numerous awards, gold records and number one albums, as well as huge headline tours and festivals around the world. With Satyricon & Munch, the band sets new standards in contemporary music in an experience that is both monumental and intimate.
