Founded by six Parisians, SARAH W. PAPSUN stepped onto the French scene in 2008. Since then, the band has become known for its marathon performances, blending the breadth of post rock with its electro fervor and amphetamine-fueled vocals. Winner of the 2012 FAIR, SARAH W. PAPSUN notably stood out at the Transmusicales de Rennes, after touring with Bewitched Hands, Stuck In The Sound, Skip The Use, Pony Pony Run Run and Breton. Among its best-known tracks are Pay Try (the soundtrack to Citroën C4’s worldwide advertising spot) and 5'', which will be the Coming Next theme for Canal Plus’s Grand Journal for several weeks. After a first album, Péplum, released in September 2013, SARAH W. PAPSUN returns with a new, high-energy album with catchy choruses. In the vein of Foals and Breton, Marathon is an album on which the band’s identity shines as never before, robust and precise, energetic and cerebral.
