Actor and musician Sam Palladio grew up in Cornwall, in the southwest of England, but it was in Music City USA, Nashville, Tennessee, that Sam had his big musical break by portraying country and soul songwriter Gunnar Scott in the hit ABC television series "Nashville." Created by Oscar-winning writer Callie Khouri, "Nashville" ran for 6 seasons and attracted over 5 million viewers each week. Sam immersed himself in the worlds of Americana, folk, and country, and had the opportunity to make music with some of the best musicians and songwriters in the world. Sam recently embarked on the creation of his first album. Having lived and made music in Nashville for nearly a decade, he felt that his debut should reflect his British roots, his Cornish upbringing, and his time spent on both sides of the world. In 2022, he teamed up with Danish producer Soren Hansen (of New Politics) and Grammy-winning producer Dave Sardy (Oasis, Snow Patrol, LCD Soundsystem, The Who). His first single "Something on My Mind" was released to critical acclaim last November, followed by his next single "Tennessee," released in April and featuring Chris Shiflett of Foo Fighters. Other television and film credits for Sam include the "The Princess Switch" trilogy on Netflix, "Humans" on AMC, "Episodes" on Showtime alongside Matt LeBlanc, ABC's prime-time drama "Rebel" with Katy Segal and Andy Garcia, and more recently he stars in the new Bob Marley biopic "One Love," released in February 2024.
