To celebrate the 20th anniversary of ...And the Battle Begun, the Sargent House label is releasing a limited double vinyl reissue. This edition includes a fully remastered version of the album as well as four previously unreleased live recordings, including the fan-favorite tracks "Apparition," "In Her Drawer," and "Only for the Night." The whole is presented in a gatefold sleeve adorned with gold markings, with a special "Eco Citrus" vinyl version reserved for independent record stores. At the same time, Rx Bandits will embark on a North American tour in June 2026 during which the album will be performed in its entirety. Originally released in 2006, ...And the Battle Begun represents a major turning point in the band's career. Gradually moving away from its ska-punk roots, Rx Bandits develops an ambitious style blending progressive rock, jazz fusion, reggae, dub, psychedelia, and sophisticated melodies. Considered one of the most significant independent albums of its time, it remains an influential work twenty years after its release. This reissue also pays tribute to the fact that it was the very first album released by Sargent House, highlighting its lasting importance in the history of the band and the label.
