Originating from Olympia, in the state of Washington, USA, the members of RVIVR have been touring the world tirelessly for nearly ten years. They have given energetic and inspired DIY concerts across North and South America, Asia, Australia, and Europe, and have released eight albums since 2009. They are known for their catchy melodies that transcend genres, their sincere and irresistible vocal duets, and their strong commitment to inclusion and accessibility at their concerts. They particularly advocate for the access of women, queer, and trans people to the stage and performance space. RVIVR has a limited online presence and has accomplished all of this without agents or managers, in collaboration with a network of underground punk rock venues around the world. Founded in 2008 by Mattie Jo Canino (guitar/vocals), Erica Freas (guitar/vocals), and Kevin Rainsberry (drums), RVIVR loves to play punk rock and excels in this genre.
