Description

"Gnosis" is the highly anticipated 8th album by Russian Circles, produced and mixed by Kurt Ballou, guitarist of Converge, at GodCity Studio. With this latest album, Russian Circles focuses overall on what the band describes as "cathartic pieces." As was the case for many artists during the COVID era, the obstacles of geography and isolation forced Russian Circles to reevaluate their writing process. Instead of creating songs from fragmented ideas in the rehearsal room, complete songs were written and recorded independently before being shared with the other members, in order to maintain their initial vision. A European tour with Cult of Luna is scheduled for March 2023.
