In October 2018, pianist Robert Glasper settled in for a month-long residency at the legendary jazz club Blue Note in New York. Several evenings are dedicated to his new collective R+R=NOW. He is joined on keyboards by Terrace Martin on synthesizer, vocoder, and alto saxophone, Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah on trumpet, Derrick Hodge on bass, Taylor McFerrin on synthesizer and beatbox, and Justin Tyson on drums. The group recently released their first album: "Collagically Speaking" and the music, as evidenced by R+R=NOW Live, is the result of an exciting recording with standout tracks like "Respond," "Change of Tone," "Resting Warrior," as well as a cover of "How Much a Dollar Cost" by Kendrick Lamar. The release is scheduled for this upcoming February 5th.
