Berge and Brundtland describe Profound Mysteries as the greatest adventure of their career. They summarize the unique sound they have spent decades refining and developing. It is a bold look towards the future and a tribute to the artists, genres, and musical movements that have inspired them; a true lifelong project. Oscillating between club sounds and melancholic electro pop flights, the duo invites many artists including Alison Goldfrapp, Beki Mari, Astrid S, Karen Harding, Pixx and Jamie Irrepressible.
