Grande-Terre
Description
A young trumpet prodigy, Roy Hargrove is a genius on the contemporary Jazz scene. Spotted by the iconic Wynton Marsalis in the mid-80s, he went on to play on numerous albums by giants such as Herbie Hancock, Sonny Rollins, Oscar Peterson, Michael Brecker, but also invited artists from popular music like Erykah Badu, Common, D'Angelo, and Gilles Peterson.A fan of creating multiple bands, Roy Hargrove founded the "Roy Hargrove Crisol" and infused a Latin dynamic into his Jazz. One year after the 1997 release of 'Habana', the trumpeter followed up with 'Grande Terre', but the album is only being released today, making this opus a completely unreleased album.Discover the master's grooveBuy Grande-Terre at the best price
