North Carolina-based singer-songwriter and guitarist Rosali Middleman, known as Rosali, announces her new album "Bite Down." "Bite Down" is Rosali’s first album with Merge Records and finds her in a period of transition. “I started writing most of Bite Down after moving to North Carolina in the fall of 2021. The album chronicles two cross-country moves, including a goodbye to my longtime home, Philadelphia,” Rosali explains. On "Bite Down," Rosali once again collaborates with Omaha-based mainstays—David Nance (bass, guitar), James Schroeder (guitar, synth), and Kevin Donahue (drums, percussion), the same band she first assembled in 2021 for her acclaimed album "No Medium." She was also supported in the studio by Destroyer member Ted Bois (keys, piano). "Bite Down" showcases the urgency and ambition of their collaboration—a band pushing each other not only to expand on what they've already done together but also to venture into completely new territory. "Bite Down" was also co-produced and mixed by Schroeder and Rosali.
