The band's first album after Merv Pepler and Joie Hinton left to form Eat Static, 'Become The Other' still possesses the fresh, psychedelic rock of its predecessors. With hints of techno, psybient and world music, the album kicks off with beautiful guitars and bass on 'Cat DNA', followed by the atmospheres of 'Ahu Belahu' and 'Ghedengi'. 'Wob Glass' is a synth techno track, while 'Neurochasm' is a cool, trippy rock track, very Ozrics. The title track makes an incursion into reggae with the long final tracks 'Vibuthi' and 'Plurnstyle', both blends of classic Ozrics sounds.
