Moving on maybes

Description

The artist’s first English-language studio album in 12 years, Movin' on Maybe by Roch Voisine brings together 12 new original songs with country, folk, pop and rock colors. Here, the singer-songwriter reconnects with his friends and renowned collaborators, traveling between studios in London, Nashville and Montreal. Among these partners, note the return of his Nashville friends, including, of course, producer Chad Carlson (Americana and Confidences) who, it should be remembered, received two Grammy Awards in 2010 for his work with American country music star Taylor Swift! For the track Jacob & Leila, Roch Voisine worked again with Dean Landon, with whom he co-wrote the song Pour l'honneur / Living Out My Dreams, the official anthem of the Canadian Olympic team in Sochi 2014. Also worth mentioning are Alan Frew, writer, composer and singer of the group Glass Tiger, and Nashville star singer Katie Armiger, who lend their voices respectively on the songs I Will Remain and The Gift. Finally, let us mention the participation of valuable Quebec collaborators including producers Marc Pérusse, Jay Lefebvre, Guy Tourville and sound engineer Ghislain-Luc Lavigne.
