Young trombone virtuoso, Robinson Khoury multiplies experiences within prestigious orchestras, while regularly collaborating with musical heavyweights both on the French scene (Ibrahim Maalouf, Sacre du Tympan, Théo Ceccaldi) and internationally (Quincy Jones, Metropole Orkest).
A constantly exploring musician, his explosive energy, supported by flawless technique, serves a true artistic statement, a genuine identity. The year 2019 marks the release of his first album, "Frame Of Mind," then 2022 sees the release of his second opus "Broken Lines."
With a diaeresis on his Y, MŸA is already immediately striking. But his uniqueness would be very little if it were limited to this graphic fancy. The trombonist, in a musical search for the organic origins of life, explores ancestral rhythms and sounds through electroacoustic landscapes shaped by his modular synth. Rooted in jazz and Middle Eastern scales, MŸA revolves around the wordless voices of the group members and guest singers Lynn Adib and Natacha Atlas.
