In 'Broken Lines', Robinson Khoury breaks the codes of modern jazz by trying several composition formats.
His first album 'Frame Of Mind' was released at the dawn of the first lockdown related to the health crisis, and the music that results from this second installment is impacted by the societal environment.
The constraints that the population has endured will foster inspiration for the trombonist's composition. At the same time, his attraction to various artistic currents, such as sculpture or painting, particularly cubist, minimalist, or abstract movements, will also give rise to ideas of associations (colors/modes, shapes/rhythms).
In this new opus, Robinson depicts contemporary images in his own way under several archi-textures.
