For the Little Italy tour, which traveled throughout France in 2013, Roberto Alagna drew his inspiration from the culture of Italian immigrants who settled in Little Italy, the mythical neighborhood of New York, bringing with them a rich musical tradition. In this new concert tour, the tenor presents his little Italy and pays tribute to the great Italian-American composers who shaped the music of the 20th century: Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Mario Lanza, and Louis Prima. He also extends his tribute to French artists such as Nino Ferrer, Yves Montand, and Serge Reggiani, who contributed to spreading Italian musical culture around the world. Under the musical direction of Frédéric Manoukian, whose swinging Big Band brings together about twenty musicians on stage.
