A great marijuana enthusiast, Mitchum plays the slacker on the beat, but he proves convincing on tracks like “Coconut Water,” “From a Logical Point of View,” which praises marrying “a woman uglier than yourself,” or the classic calypso “Jean and Dinah,” the album's hit single. A project that could have been a vast joke but holds up and improves with time.
