Born in Rouen, Rilès is a 22-year-old singer-songwriter. After graduating high school with honors, he decided to enroll in English at university. With a merit scholarship, he set up his own recording studio. He then learned sound engineering and mastering techniques to do everything himself (from writing to the final product). With "do it yourself" as a motto, he writes, produces, and edits all his music videos. On the border of rap, R&B, and pop, his music combines American influences (Kanye West, Chance the Rapper, Russ, etc.) with sounds from his Kabyle origins and his years of Capoeira.
After his RILÈSUNDAYZ challenge, during which 52 tracks were released every week from September 2016 to September 2017, and a sold-out tour across France, England, Belgium, Switzerland, Morocco, and Tunisia, Rilès is preparing his first album, still in his room, but accompanied by Capitol for France, Polydor for the UK, and Republic Records for the USA.
