While our ears get lost in the cacophony of a saturated world, drowned by the dissonance and excess of the noises that besiege us, Rien Virgule invites us to explore sonic interstices, to slow down and resist the frenzy. With 'Berceuses des deux mondes', the deafening fires of noise subside, the volume of the overamplified world calms down, and music becomes a refuge. We listen as one contemplates a flickering candle flame, tinged with a luminous melancholy. Two ears like two worlds: contrasts are reflected there, musical pieces transform into movements, telluric spaces collide, crackle and resonate. With this fourth album, the band amplifies its musical geology, revealing barely perceptible forces, all in tension and subtlety, to sculpt finely crafted soundscapes.
