After 20 years of waiting, RIDE, reformed in 2014, releases "Weather Diaries," their new event album. Composed of Andy Bell (bassist of Oasis), Mark Gardener, Laurence Colbert, and Steve Queralt, the band has, since their return, toured around the world, including stops at Coachella, Primavera, and Field Day. Produced by the legendary DJ and producer Erol Alkan (who notably produced Franz Ferdinand) and mixed by Alan Moulder (Arctic Monkeys, Smashing Pumpkins, The Killers), who was already mixing on the famous album "Nowhere," "Weather Diaries" contains all the elements that made the success of RIDE's brilliant musical compositions in the early 90s: trembling distortions, beautiful harmonies, pounding rhythms, and sparkling soundscapes.
